Pen a master plot:
Readers want their crime solving skills put to the test. Give them a challenge they won’t soon forget with a thorough, plausible plan.
Do your homework:
If your mystery takes place in a NASA facility, then you’ll want to brush up on your aeronautics. Readers won’t take your story seriously if they don’t believe you understand the subject matter.
Be creative, but believeable:
Countless victims have fallen prey to nefarious methods of fictional crimes. Think about how you’ll set your book apart from the rest, just make sure things don’t become too far-fetched.
