The Bridge to Better Books

Deliver an impactful book to your audience with help from writing coach Nancy Erickson.

Get started

Your book is more than a glossy hardcover or a matte paperback. It holds the ideas you need to communicate to the world. How you tell your story is just as important as the visual aspects.

To create a better book, you start with its organization and the writing. The goal isn’t to publish a book—it’s to publish a top-notch book that can compete with anything on the market.

That’s why BookBaby is teaming up with one of self-publishing’s most knowledgeable leaders—The Book Professor herself—Nancy Erickson. Together we’re offering The Bridge to Better Books—your resource to develop a better writing process that will lead you to write a better book.

The tools, techniques, and training in this comprehensive approach will guide you from concept to manuscript to a published book comparable with anything else on the bookshelf.

What can you achieve with The Bridge to Better Books?

Whether you’re a public speaker, a coach, a leading business professional, or a self-help author, The Bridge to Better Books can help you write the book that’ll become the building block of your entire career.

How it works

The Book Professor has two courses for you to choose from:

1. Executive Group Coaching & Publishing Program

Designed for professionals that need to save time and get things right the first time, you, your fellow course members, and the Book Professor will participate in weekly online meet-ups focused on leading you to a finished nonfiction book.

2. Self-Directed Book Writing Program

The Book Professor will work with you 1-on-1 to help take your book from ideation to the bookstore index—all in less than one year.

Both courses follow a step-by-step system, divided into three phases:

1. Concept to Concrete Plan

Learn how to create a blueprint for your book that allows you to write more efficiently and clearly present the value of your book to your audience.

2. Write Without Ruts

Learn and use tools that will help you develop (and stick to) a writing schedule while applying effective techniques that make for exceptional writing.

3. Polish and Perfect

Learn how to apply the finishing touches on your manuscript from strengthening your vocabulary to maintaining interest throughout your book.
